ASHA Training Programme

HCMS has organized a series of ASHA training programs (phase III) sponsored by National Rural Health Mission in Sewar block of Bharatpur district in 2009-10.

Navjeevan Yojana

A rehabilitation drive was conducted in the Amer block of Jaipur district in April 2010 with financial support of Department of Excise, Government of Rajasthan under the scheme popularly known as Navjeevan Yojana.

HCMS surveyed 196 villages spread over 45 GPs of Amer block in Jaipur. Kankreil, Chamanpura, Dhab ka Naala, Kankreil Dhani, Chokidari Ki dhani, Saiwad‐Laalwas, Gunawata, Saray Bawadi, and Koliyon ka Mohalla are the evident places where more than 100 cases of illegal trade of alcohol are observed under the survey.

In this exercise, a series of Street plays (Nukkad Natak) were held in the target points as set by the TA and PIA so as to sensitize the target beneficiaries and as well as to benefit passersby. Thus, thousands of people were made aware on the issue of illegal drug usage. 34 identified persons involved in illegal trade of alcohol were freed by signing on stamp paper.
